We are so excited to yoga with you!

“Yoga is not about self-improvement; it’s about self-acceptance.”

Nikkii McClelland

Nikkii started yoga in 2004 and received her teacher training with “It’s Yoga” from San Francisco in 2006. She learned the Ashtanga series and has practiced Mysore style. Nikkii enjoys teaching both the Ashtanga series and Vinyasa flow style of yoga. She gives hands-on adjustments and is experienced with helping those who have injuries to practice safely. In her Vinyasa style classes the emphasis is on the breath, where she will guide you through a standard set of asanas (poses) to activate your entire body. This girl enjoys teaching all levels to her students but most of all Nikkii is known for the fun she brings to her classes through her kind and playful spirit! If you love hands on adjustments to help deepen your practice Nikkii is your gal!

Anita Bryant

Anita began her yoga journey with an Ashtanga class and from that first class she grew a love for being on her mat. Anita is an experienced teacher with 16 years of teaching and over 18 years of practicing. Early into her yoga journey, Anita was able to heal sport injuries and avoid surgeries, which is what sold her on yoga. Enrolling in teacher training along with continued education and many workshops has deepened Anita’s love for her yoga practice. Anita enjoys the benefits of yoga in her own body, mind and spirit, but what she is in constant awe of is watching her students evolve, find balance and grow their own practice. Anita would like to thank the teachers before her for sharing their joy and enthusiasm as it has paved the way for many of us.

Judy Rouleau

Yoga has been a part of Judy’s life for over 15 years and since then her practice has grown stronger, she has increased her flexibility and has become fearless on and off her mat. Judy’s intention is to continue to grow and develop as a teacher and continue to keep a beginner’s mind filled with curiosity that will allow her teaching to reflect just that. Judy wants to give people a safe place to explore and strengthen their practice and hopefully bring what they learn on the mat into their daily life. Judy completed her 200-hr teacher training with Its Yoga in 2015 and became an FRC Mobility Specialist in 2020. If you enjoy toning and targeting specific areas in your body you won’t want to miss Judy’s class!

Glen Herman

Glen has been practicing yoga for 15 years and began his yoga journey as a way to relieve job stress and maintain flexibility to continue playing hockey and other sports he enjoys. Glen quickly realized that yoga was much more than a physical practice and that yoga was good medicine for both body and soul. Yoga Connexion became a regular part of Glen’s life and when the studio needed teachers he thought he would help out as he was curious and interested in deepening his own practice. In 2018, Glen received his 200-hr teacher training at One Yoga in Saskatoon with Ryan Leier. He started teaching soon after and has enjoyed being a part of the wonderful yoga community at Yoga Connexion as both teacher and student. Glen’s teaching style is traditional with the flow of class being moderate to slower paced, as poses will be held longer in length to emphasize breath connection. Don’t miss class with Glen as you’ll feel all sorts of relaxed and won’t want to leave savasana!

Jolene Rommelaere

Jolene's love of yoga began in 2004 as a physical practice to balance the effects of running. It soon evolved into a spiritual journey that continues to change and mature every single day. Jolene has been teaching yoga since 2015 and has studied various yoga disciplines, including Iyengar, Ashtanga, Yin, Restorative, Vinyasa, as well as meditation, pranayama and yoga philosophy. She continues to be inspired daily by the teachers in her life, her family, nature and stillness. Jolene's commitment to lifelong learning provides her students with a constantly changing and new experience. Her hope is to provide a safe space for self-discovery, growth and balance. When Jolene is not on her mat you can find her travelling to sunny skies or snowy mountains.

Sue Johnston

Sue first experienced yoga in 2006 and initially she wasn’t sure if yoga was for her. Sue is competitive by nature and was challenged to leave that aspect of her personality off the mat. Throughout her yoga journey Sue has learnt so much about herself and has grown as a person. Yoga gave her the opportunity to find a deep connection with mind and body and has shaped Sue into the person she is today. Sue completed her 200-hr teacher training at Satya Yoga Studio in 2011 and began teaching right away. In the fall of 2014, Sue was diagnosed with breast cancer and credits her yoga practice with helping her with recovery. During that time, Sue learnt and practiced a softer side of yoga, different from the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa practice. Sue continued her yoga education and completed courses in Restorative and Yin yoga. She now teaches a variety of classes and loves to share the benefits with everyone. Namaste.

Britt Smith

Britt found yoga in 2006 as a way to heal and strengthen her back after an injury and was addicted ever since. Yoga continues to be the only medicine that keeps her back pain away but has developed a deeper love with yoga as it helps reconnect herself with what matters most in life. Britt is a 200-hr registered yoga teacher with a really fun playlist. She completed her training in 2020 at The Traveling Yoga Studio. Britt is trained in Vinyasa style yoga and encourages her students to move with intention. She teaches from an authentic, sincere and playful place as no two classes are alike. (No handstands here but be prepared to sweat). Britt’s class will leave you inspired as she creates a safe practice where you can ground and return to love. When Britt isn’t on her mat you can find her singing and dancing to every Disney movie with her kids, drinking way too much coffee and fishing at the lake.

Jodi Arling

Jodi completed her 200-hr teacher training through the Traveling Yoga Studio in October 2021. She teaches a beautiful vinyasa flow where poses flow fluidly from one to the next. Jodi emphasizes on moving your body to be in sync with your breath throughout practice. Each flow is unique as there is no set sequence so you can enjoy something new every time you attend her class. Jodi provides many modifications, which is great for all levels (beginner to experienced yogi). Her uplifting voice guides her students in a safe, intentional and compassionate way that allows you to experience a deeper part of yourSELF every time you step on your mat. You’ll leave class feeling more relaxed, calm and fuelled with new energy. Other than yoga…traveling, warm weather, palm trees, margs, and sunshine are her happiness ingredients. Jodi also loves spending time with her family and spoiling her adorable nieces.
